Structural features of German SSB battery:
1. The positive and negative grids are made of a series of multicomponent materials.
During charging, the negative electrode does not emit hydrogen, but only a small amount of oxygen is generated from the positive electrode. The oxygen can quickly reach the negative electrode and react with the negative electrode lead to produce lead oxide, which is reconstituted with sulfuric acid to form water. 3. Additives are added to the electrode plate, and the ultra-fine glass fiber diaphragm tight assembly process is adopted to make the battery have superior high current discharge performance.
The high current discharge performance of the battery mainly depends on the negative plate. In order to prevent the negative plate from shrinking in the process of charge and discharge, it is necessary to add negative expansion agent. At present, there is a big gap between the expansion agent produced in China and the western advanced countries. The world's best expansion agent - the product of American Lewis Products Co. is adopted for aroma battery.
4. The extreme and battery shell shall be sealed with rubber gasket first, and then the epoxy labyrinth multi-layer seal shall be used to prevent extreme acid leakage.
Sealed epoxy is one of the key materials to realize battery sealing. The acid resistance and bonding performance of domestic epoxy are poor.
5. In the manufacturing process, a variety of statistical techniques and methods are used, such as lead oxidation degree, plate thickness, weight of active substances, acid injection volume, etc. the consistency of battery voltage and capacity is good.
